Thousand Cranes is the true, poignant
story of Sadako Sasaki. Sadako
was only two years old when the
Hiroshima bomb fell and seemed
to be unharmed, but at twelve she was
diagnosed with
"radiation sickness" an aftermath
of the bomb's effects.
