Set on an Midwest farm, this one
act play for children,
introduces the extraordinary characters of William Henry and his
fun-loving,tom-boy cousin, Ally. Through game playing and mischief
they find friendship, maturity and love as the meaning of Grandpa's
gift becomes clear.

remembers his
"shining moment" in 1910, the same year Halley's comet
streaked the sky. As his life comes to an end he seeks to pass on the
glory of that moment to his grandson. |
